Ted Nugent releases immature anti-Kerry song
It's called 'Stand'... a 2:25 song that he is releasing as a bootleg for $9.99! (no, of course no mention to charity or even giving to conservative political causes)...

Stream:
http://www.startcolorado.com/iac/KRFX-FM/nugent-political-song.wma

Lyrics:
Stand
lyrics
I don't need John Kerry to wipe my ass, don't need Ted Kennedy to spill my glass, Al Not So Sharpton is a horses ass, redistribution is a fkn laugh.
Ch-I don't need nobody to hold my hand, don't need nobody, I can stand. Make it on my own in a Rock-n-Roll band, kiss my American ass I'm a Republican.
V2-ya say you're friends with Michael Moore. Then you are friends with pimps & whores, The 2nd Amendment aint about no sport, no right to self defense in a Kerry court.
Ch-
Brdg-You don't think I'm taxed enuf, well I'm ready to call your bluff. Pimps & whores & welfare brats, too much gvt way too fat.

19. Here's how Nugent dodged the draft in his own words......

http://www.livejournal.com/users/jmhm/450690.html

He claims that 30 days before his draft board physical, he stopped all forms of personal hygiene. The last 10 days, he ingested nothing but Vienna sausages and Pepsi; and a week before his physical, he stopped using bathrooms altogether, virtually living inside pants caked with his own excrement, stained by his urine. That spectacle won Nugent a deferment, he says. "... but if I would have gone over there, I'd have been killed, or I'd have killed, or I'd killed all the hippies in the foxholes...I would have killed everybody." - Detroit Free Press Magazine , July 15, 1990

5. yeah, "bootleg" from the artist himself
doesn't make much sense, but that's what Nugent says on his official website.

here:
http://tednugent.com/stand.shtml

you'd think he'd just sell it on itunes for a buck... the depth of thought in those lyrics represents the demographic we're up against, scary that they make up 1/2 the country.

21. $10 for a two-minute song???
Hell, John Mellencamp and the Beastie Boys both released anti-war songs on their sites for FREE! Nuge could have easily gone the $1 I-Tunes route as well.

But the only people who are going to pay $10 for a two-minute song from Ted Nugent are the diehard fans (all ten of 'em) and the Free Republic crowd. Though most of them will probably wait until it hits Kazaa.

I'll pass.

4. This song is disturbing on so many levels...
that it's difficult to decide where to start.

Profanity: wipe my ass; horse's ass; fkn laugh; kiss my American ass; whores

Racism: Al Not So Sharpton; redistribution; welfare brats (poor); too much gvt way too fat )social programs)

Anti-Jesus: friends with Michael Moore... friends with pimps and whores; welfare brats (poor); too much gvt (social programs);

Anti-Constitution: No right to self-defense (getting away with cold-blooded killing with assault weapons)

Anti-American Society: taxed enough (don't ask me to help pay for roads, water filtration systems, police forces, fire departments, our military, or schools)

Stand: Take a stand against all that is decent (moral) and honorable about our country... against the very reasons neocons claim terrorists hate us for our "freedoms."

WHAT A CROCK!

8. OK... Nugent was pretty wasted one night when he wrote this one
I remember seeing Nugent at some dive in San Antonio back around maybe 1975 or so. He was so wasted we all were in awe that he gave such a great performance. Something about musicians as great as Nugent give them the ability to get even better when they're totally wasted.

12. From the deranged a**hole who said:"Apartheid isn't that cut and dry...
...All men are not created equal."

Statements which would embarrass David Duke in the 1980s are now passing for mainstream in today's Republican party.

(To all you Soccer/Security Moms and churchfolk who might be leaning to Bush for his "values"...this is who you're really jumping into bed with).

15. Nugent is the poster boy for the self indulgent GOP
He is the GOPs core beliefs in human form. Profane, stingy, self absorbed and screw the world. They should be so proud.

17. OK Mr. Crotch-Rot Fever (or whatever the title of that song you wrote),
vote for Bush. Get him back in the White House. Then, I want to see your sorry ass at the front of the line to serve in Iraq and relieve these guys who have had their service unexpectedly extended by your coke-snorting commander-in-chief.

As for the taxes you pay, do the math and and tell me how we're going to pay for the deficits Bush has and will continue to pile up if we continue to be the Barney Fife of the world and cut taxes for the rich?

You mean you won't go to Iraq? What a pussy!

Unlike the rest of us he has been spared the displeasure of having to hear his music.
