My best friend his family oprah and the debate
This is a family that dosent have cable tv .
My friends wife tina watched the oprah show then the next day went to register to vote..First time in her 39 years of living her daughter 18 years also registered..Not only that but they as a family watched the entire debate and last night we all went to the american royal barbeque event in kansas city mo and through a flood and i mean flood of bush.cheney signs proudly wore thier kerry shirts and buttons my friend actually ripped a friend of his a new asshole in the car who was trying to regurgitate Kerry voted against weapons crap .I added a few facts basically that cheney voted for the same bill but my voice wasnt required...For the the opponent was allready slain.
Alot of his political interest was because of me because its all i think and talk about ..But I couldnt held thinking about the power of Oprah,The power of watching to men on a stage without handlers and leaving the viewers to decide who won..

This is my best friend of 25 years and i am damn proud of him right now

and vote. Somewhere online is a great quote from Cameron Diaz- but I can't find it now. You go girls!

"Big stars are on a mission! Find out Drew Barrymore's new passion and what Christina Aguilera's never done before. Plus, P. Diddy makes a plea, and Cameron Diaz and Oprah team up—and they mean business!"

On Edit: Drudge had it:

CAMERON DIAZ ELECTION SCARE: 'IF YOU THINK RAPE SHOULD BE LEGAL, THEN DON'T VOTE'
Thu Sep 30 2004 12:12:11 ET

On Oprah's Wednesday 'voting party' show featuring important celebrities like P. Diddy (Vote or Die!), Drew Barrymore and Christina Aguilera, svelte suffragette Cameron Diaz took to shock tactics to get the female vote out.

After a discussion with Oprah on lynching and the vote, Diaz spoke of the dire consequences for women if they sit out this election:

Ms. DIAZ: We have a voice now, and we're not using it, and women have so much to lose. I mean, we could lose the right to our bodies. We could lo--if you think that rape should be legal, then don't vote. But if you think that you have a right to your body, and you have a right to say what happens to you and fight off that danger of losing that, then you should vote, and those are the...

WINFREY: It's your voice.

Ms. DIAZ: It's your voice. It's your voice, that's your right.
