Media foreshadows Osama "capture"... |
|
Yesterday I noticed that there was a lot of talk about Ayman al-Zawahiri and the tape recently attributed to him telling his disciples to carry on if anything happened to the Al Qaeda "leaders". They went on to say that Bin Laden hadn't been heard from in quite some time, not since the video last year. They surmized that perhaps he may have been killed or captured (?). What do they really know?
I still think the U.S. has got him somewhere and are about ready for the reveal as Bush's October surprise. The enabling media are just doing the run-up for them.

2. It'll Be One Hell Of A Catch-22 |
|
I don't dismiss the "bringing Osama out of the cooler stuff to the same degree I think he's some creation of PNAC to create a "war on terror" that disguises a naked play for oil and world exploitation...but let's look at this from a couple steps back.
Yep, bringing out bin Laden would give Bunnypants a boost among his own hive and maybe a few "fence sitters", but I suspect those of us who are vehemently opposed to this asshole won't be phased one bit...and probably will claim it's about time. Even moreso, the rumors of this being a set-up will get out and get plenty of media play (and yes, it will, just like Ridge's last few skittle warnings...a reason they're real, real careful now to play that freight card)...and then the story goes from Osama's capture to if it was a set-up...too much shit for even this regime and it's compliant media to deal with in the closing weeks of the campaign.
RoveCo. feels their boy stands a better chance of winning with Osama still in a cave than in custody. Capturing him takes a big question mark and card off the table for these assholes. It opens debate onto what the "war on terror" is about and puts a focus on WTF are we doing in Iraq and how the hell do we get out. With a loose Osama, the endless war of fear and distortion on the American people by it's own government can continue.

3. If they get him, Bush wins. So, may as well not think |

about it. Keep hitting him with Osama.

4. If bin Laden was captured between now and the elections |
|
it would be so patently obvious that it was set up. If the people of this country swallow it, then it confirms my beliefs in how dumbed down this country is. And that's scary.

5. Bet dollars to donuts... |
|
they know where he is. He's still more than likely a CIA asset. He worked for 'em long enough back in the Mujahaddin days, for sure...I don't see the CIA losing track of their stooges.
