Union members in CA have never heard of Air America. Incompetence!

I asked my neighbor across the street for a Kerry sticker because she had a big Kerry sign in her window. I am too busy to go get one cause I'm going on vacation in a few hours. She gave me one. She is a UCFW(?) member and official. I asked her if she had listened to Fracken which started on 960 radio in the Bay Area a few weeks ago.

1. She said no.
2. She has NEVER HEARD of AA or Franken.

I told her that the union newsletter doesn't announce this? "NO". She loves the internet too but still never even heard of the AA streaming for what 6 months now.

I going on vacation and have no time. PLEASE SOMEONE CALL FRANKEN/AA AND HAVE THEM QUICKLY CONTACT UNION LEADERS TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT TO ITS MEMEBERS IN ALL STATES!

In my opinion this is absolutely stupid that someone hasn't done this already six months ago!

1. Glad you posted this- Air America does need to be publicized more

We just got Air America a few weeks ago here in Western N.C. and it has been wonderful. I have been spreading the word to all my friends since most of them were not aware of it and I am sending in a letter to the editor. We had widespread power outages for several days due to the hurricane right after Air America started airing, which turned out to be great timing since so many more people than usual were using their their battery or car radios and could discover this channel.

I'm hoping the Franken/Sundance gig helps bring some new listeners to AAR.
