Want to scare yourself? Read about Bush: The Christ Candidate!
http://newswire.indymedia.org/en/newswire/2004/10/810938.shtml

I found that link while searching Indymedia for something else. Has this been posted before? Frank Rich exposes the unbelievably frightening DVD sent out FREE to thousands of churches on the day F/911 is released. The DVD portrays Bush as pretty much a long lost twin to Jesus. It's just scary.... please read the article!

We should keep things, like that DVD, in our minds 24/7 as we work to elect John Kerry. They are declaring war on the non-believers. Also keep in mind the words of the Christian Coalition at a recent meeting (this is from an official in the group): 'You must do whatever it takes to destroy the enemy, go around them, through them, over them. Whatever it takes to make sure that OUR God's word is the ONLY word in Congress, town halls, and our school'. Folks? WE are the "enemy".

1. Bush doesn't have much left...
I imagine it's possible that we'll see a noticeable change in campaign strategy away from attempting to sway the undecideds to making sure the committed Bush supporters stay in his camp. How better to do that then with religion and a "faith in the President" message that keeps his flock supporting him without having to think?

2. "If necessary, I will always choose God over truth."
that's a line from Woody Allen's "Crimes and Misdemeanors" that just popped up as I was reading the article. A perfect explanation of the "faith based mind."

3. Yes, this is the message that MUST be spread
These are the people who will burn us at the stake, if they come into power.

Don't think for a moment that they won't, given the chance!!!!

4. Looking to the government for you religious conviction is SO un-Christ
like that it never fails to appall me - and I am a very Conservative Christian.
