NPR just did a story "explaining" how NJ went from 20 pts. +Kerry...
Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 11:52 AM by Junkdrawer
to a dead heat. They then did a few "man in the street" interviews showing that "the polls are right". A truly masterful piece of propaganda. Audio Link Here:

So I thought, "Wonder if NJ is going touchscreen.."

And, sure enough, they are...

Green = Touchscreens

Now, what can be done at this late date is questionable. But make no mistake, the fix is truly in. One of the more frightening things at the debate was when "Glass Jaw" Bush was asked if he really believes that if Kerry were elected, the nation would be more vulnerable to terror attacks. He simply sneered: "It won't happen".

3. i agree we that are being set up for the rip off..
and when it happens, people better be fucking prepared to fight. We can not allow this to happen. The reaction should make the Watts riots look like a pool party.

15. After the election, I'm sure correlations between changes...
in historic voting patterns and voting equipment used will we be run. I'd imagine it will be fairly obvious.

However: Remember when the results of the newspaper-run hand recount of Florida was first due to be released? Mid September 2001. After 9/11, it was delayed for a month and then most media spun the results, "for the good of the nation".

7. I gave up on NPR a long time ago. National Public Radio? I don't think
so. I think it now stands for something like Now Purely (Positively, Purposely, Pornographically) Republican. Take you pick about what the 'P' stands for. Just way too many choices out there.

10. I've mostly stopped listening in my car. It's now like Limbaugh -
I listen for a few minutes from time-to-time just to keep tabs. My wife still listens in the morning because she likes the "cultural programming".

It's getting to where I can't take NPR for more than a few minutes at a time.

on post-debate reaction, where they interviewed 3 Bush supporters and on Kerry supporter, then played clips of Imus and Stern saying Bush had won.

Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 11:58 AM by sampsonblk
This is like Bush claiming Mississippi is fixed. There is no way Bush can win in New Jersey unless we make huge mistakes and open the door for him.

18. When * is through draining this nation
we will have no true journalists left. I also heard this drivel on NPR. The Bush apologists are everywhere. NPR disgusts me, now. Treasonous bastards are everywhere.

Why do they hate their own nation so much? God, it hurts to see even NPR jump into shrub's smelly lap like dogs.

19. A lot of what's going on now dates back to Reagan and Gingrich...
Reagan's repeal of the Fairness Doctrine...

Gingrich's "privatization" of Public Media funding.

27. Yes, I remember
I believe the Fairness Doctrine was put to rest in 1995, the end to a process Reagan and the Reaganistas cooked up.

Amazing that, as I teach my children about the Bill of Rights this afternoon, I realize many Republicans are exactly the kinds of men and women our Founders abhored, trying to get away with the exact same crimes against humans.

How sad that the media have so little regard for this nation. How sad that the funders of media have so little regard for the most precious Constitution.

I NEVER thought I would see this day come. I pity the children of journalists, being parented by people who would not even stand up to defend their own children's rights as human beings. Cowards all...

It has a history of the incumbents losing nearly all the undecided vote. Kerry will win NJ handily. Don't worry about them or Maryland.
