November 2nd...K/E win--right wing meltdown?
Is it possible that we might actually see a public meltdown from the other side? Either from Cheney's unrestrained anger or * going completely off the edge and having to be dragged off in a strait jacket?

1. No, I don't think so...
... instead, the party will begin plotting for 2008, and the smear tactics will start on Kerry.

Next time they put up a candidate, their campaign will be even slicker, even better packaged, even better run, the media blitz even better managed.

They managed to foist off on the country an intellectually lazy, spoiled rich kid with some very dangerous ideas of his own whom they made seem, incredibly, the salt of the earth, and everyone's best buddy.

If that worked, what wonders can they create out of someone cleverer and even more devious?

2. I expect a lot more nastiness from republicans on the ground...
...bullies don't like to lose.

3. I believe it was Novak who prdicted a meltdown for the pukes
and a subsequent purge of fundamentalists in control. I truly believe there are a few who resent the religionists' control.

5. Boy, that would be the icing on the cake, wouldn't it?

All I would need is to win the lottery, and my year would be made.

4. Oh, I DO think so. . . .
These are people who have managed to pull one over on the gullible American people for the last four years with very little effort. Once they're exposed, they'll be like rats running for cover. Bush * will not be able to handle it, and Cheney will blow up (and hopefully have a major coronary at the same time!).

6. the Republican party has some serious issues to work out
it is a party that has lost its way on core central values and there will be a huge shakeup in the next four to eight years.
