CNN Headline News - Repug Comps Stolen
In Washington

The Rovian Repugs might be at it again, they reported one of thier offices were broken into and three laptops containing their strategy were stolen, along with some pictures of things such as Bush Cheney bumper stickers being crumpled up.

Police say they have no evidence if this is politically motivated.

To me this sounds like the 'bug' that was found in their office that was found they had bought... after the election.

3. count 'em up
A disc dropped in Lafayette Park behind the WH containing a power point presentation of Rove's strategy.

A debate prep tape "stolen" from Bush campaign and mailed to Gore campaign.

Now, computers stolen with campaign strategy.

Rove's clearly out of tricks.

8. Someone should contact the local PD..
and give them information about Rove's previous dirty tricks.

Any brave souls working on the campaign in Washington?

10. I hope that the WP lets...
... someone with a sense of humor write the story, along with a long list of Rove's campaign tricks in the past which were designed to throw suspicion onto the opponent. A little history goes a long way.

The other interesting thing about this is that I read that the area in DC where the re-election campaign offices are located is rife with surveillance cameras and police.

Maybe someone should check G. Gordon Liddy's phone records. :P

15. And...
1) Bugging his own office then accusing the Dems of doing it.

2) Printing up fliers (Free food! Free drinks!) for a democratic fund raiser and passing them out to homeless people.

He's been doing this for years.

Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 01:11 PM by kerryin2004
Your strategy is on laptops and you don' lock them up?? Now why should we trust you with military secrets and nuke codes when you are too stupid to protect your fucking laptops?? How stupid to leave 3 computers lying around that are portable!!

6. a plant!
Remember how quickly the little bushy thingie ran up to the podium to retreive Bush's "notes" after the debate. They would NEVER leave real info lying around on laptops.

7. If we can see through this, the DNC & Kerry's campaign can, too.
I hope they're vigilant about protecting all Democratic entrances/exits.

Edited on Sat Oct-02-04 01:24 PM by George W. Dunce
at Freeperville. It was really funny. "I hape they were smart enough to use passwords bla bla bla", they work for Bush so there goes the "I hope they were smart enough" that one got my IP blocked from thier site. Dam how will I pass the time.

It was being repoted as "lost laptops" lastnight. Now they are stolen?

24. I went there one night to scan their board.
I responded very respectfully to a post about "Fahrenheit 911". I asked which parts of "Fahrenheit 911" were not factual. A disclaimer by the moderator had been added to my post: "This post is the author's opinion, doesn't reflect the views of FR, yadayada". Later on, someone else supported my opinion & both posts were removed. Sensitive bunch, aren't they? Like our country's inept prez-appointee, they can't handle dissenting views. They like only preaching to the choir.

The Rethugs must have broken in to retrieve them--to make it look like a burglary!

likely a local rove wannabe. But if cnn headline is picking it up I may have to rethink my position.
rove must really be hurting to try this one again.

21. gee, now those computers can't be seized by the FBI
or anybody else.

Convenient, isn't it?

It's the oldest trick in the world when you want to pull an accounting trick. Have your compuers "stolen" so you have to recreate all your bookeeping info.

Sleazy business owners do this all the time.

There was something incriminating on those computers and they wanted it to go away

22. Chris Vance, head of the GOP in WA, is very much like Rove....
he's a major creep. Rove seems to be pretty much a role model for him.

He's already hinted that this was the work of "misguided Democrats".

27. Remember Gore/Bush 2000 Karl Roves dirty tricks
1.The bugging of his own office.
2.The sending out of Bush coaching tape.

Plus we have already had the report of their HQ being shoot at and it was proven they did it.
