Bush is Outsourcing Our Freedom
Not just our jobs.

While we are 'spreading freedom around the middle east', we are increasingly less free and more government/corporate controlled at home.

Bush is outsourcing more than our jobs and our security, he is outsourcing our freedom as well.

Pass it on!

When Corporations Rule the World
by David C. Korten
>>Book Description
When Corporations Rule the World explains how economic globalization has concentrated the power to govern in global corporations and financial markets and detached them from accountability to the human interest. It documents the devastating human and environmental consequences of the successful efforts of these corporations to reconstruct values and institutions everywhere on the planet to serve their own narrow ends. It also reveals why and how millions of people are acting to reclaim their political and economic power from these elitist forces and presents a policy agenda for restoring democracy and rooting economic power in people and communities. This new edition is expanded with new information, including a new preface, a new introduction, a new chapter on The Global Democracy Movement, and a new epilogue.<<

5. Do you think, that if this book, and several others like it were
continually exposed on television say by George Soros and his billions.... (I think he donates something like 450million/year to charities and social programs around the world, and would give all his worldly posessions up if he could be guaranteed shrub would go away in this election) that these people would have the chance of a snowball in hell for getting into office? I would think that if the public read just a few choice publications... shrub and his gang would be doing time somewhere for the rest of the century.

Too bad the American public is so disengaged from reality.. and have no clue what is done in their name around the globe....

7. We can hope
People do, from time to time, wake up and smell the coffee. We can hope. I'm an entrepreneur, so I am sensitive to all the arguments supportive of the free market. At the same time, as a people we must have values other than the profit motive, or life around here will really start to suck hard. The Bible is replete with advice against worshipping false gods and I think that the elevation of corporations and the free market to godlike status is exactly the kind of thing the old Jewish scholars were warning us about.

I keep hoping that, at some point, the average guy realizes just how cheaply he has been sold out. Pity the "Nascar dads" ... they are going to take this particularly hard. It is true that only truth (and acceptance of truth) can set you free. Perhaps once they see it, they will band together with us and something can be done to change it.
