The baby is obviously is taken with him...what a great smile! I think the mom likes him, too!

3. i think because politicians are elected to get things done and take care

of problems. and images of them with babies gives out the perception of them being caring, protective etc.

especially in presidential campaigns, you know how a line often used is how it's about our future, our children etc.

5. I think it has to do with showing them to be the
father figure type or grandfatherly. When a politician is shown with a baby it sends the message that they are gentle and kind. Which is really the case for Kerry.

16. Wonderful pics! We talked about Kerry's gentle soul in
another thread the other day. His tender and genuine interaction with all people, including the babies is a great quality and very telling about his character, IMO. It's a "consistent" quality that cannot be denied by the other side.

Kerry shows, by his actions (and beliefs), that he DOES care about his countrymen and this country--it's NOT JUST POLITICS.

Thanks for posting this. :)
