Anyone want to make a prediction that by the time the last debate ends Bush might even be 10 points back in Texas?

2. i doubt kerry will win texas
but I think he can definitely get 42-44% there. As stated previously on DU this morning, there are a lot of democratic pockets in texas. Most of the cities are democratic, just that there are so many rural areas and suburbs that those places balance it out. Still, I think it will take time before a Dem president can come through with texas. But I definitely think Kerry will do better than expected in texas.

3. Bush won the debate according to Texans
but the margin was 51-49 I believe. Within 3 points.

4. As a Texan...
I've been saying all along that Bush will NOT get the 60%+ he got in Texas in 2000. I'm thinking he will still carry Texas, regardless of the debates, but more like in the neighborhood of 52% +/- 2%.
