John Kerry takes the Lead in Latest Poll
Newsweek has compiled its results from a poll taken after the first presidential debate between John Kerry and George Bush and, as expected, John Kerry has regained the lead.

In a three way race (including Ralph Nader) Kerry has a two point lead, 47% to 45%. This more than erases the 11 point lead Bush held after the Republican National Convention.

Due to Kerry's superior performance on both style and content, he has regained the lead in the polls once again. The flash debate results by Gallup gave the night to Kerry 53% to 37%. The Newsweek poll solidifies these results with 61% of registered voters seeing Kerry as the clear winner while only 19% gave the win to Bush.

Obviously not CNN's perspective but the American people don't seem to agree with CNN.
