So, is SNL gonna go after Bush's debate performance? |
|
I guess we'll find out in an hour. :)
I just wonder who could play Bush now that Will Ferrell's no longer on the show.

1. Hopefully there sketches are as funny as 2000 |
|
Will Forte was playing Bush the second half of last season. He is also playing John Edwards too. If they got Will Ferrel to come back and play Bush for the debates it would be great.

I just checked. Maybe they will bring back some of the alumni for the premier tonite. Will and Dana Carvey would be a scream.

7. I won't be surprised if they have a skit with Aflec as a young Kerry either |

in Vietnam or when he was protesting.
The opening skit has to be the debate (I would think).

Even the Bush part wasn't very good. It seemed to be written before the other night. SNL continues its march downhill and has been overtaken by shows like The Daily Show.

And who would that leader be?

They use to be daring but since the brown shirt brigade is so powerful these days, even the entertainment industry is too cowardly to risk taking the right stand...afraid they'll be "Rather'd" by the Gestapo.

written by committee, and a lame one at that. There were possibilities for about 6000 jokes for both they didn't even think about using. Very lame and the skit with Debbie Downer is one fo the worst I've seen in decades.

I LOVED the opening skit, the Swift Boat ad was excellent. The Boner Juice ad!
Loved the Clinton/Carville skit.
It's been a laughfest, reminds me of older days on SNL.
Take it from me, I was an SNL fan from the beginning. This is good SNL.
