Preparations for possible Kerry Q's in Town Hall debate. |
|
The moderator will chose Q's provided by the audience. What do you think they'll ask Kerry? I think we can expect a lot of parroting of some of Bush's major stump themes and accusations. Here are some I think will come up:
-You've said you have a plan to make peace in Iraq. What is it?
(How does Kerry do a 2 minute synopsis?)
-Mr. Bush accuses you of being a flip-flopper on the $87 Billion vote. So far, I am not clear on what really happened with that. Can you explain?
(Kerry made a good start on neutralizing this, but has not convinced all fence sitters.)
-Do you think that, by participating in protests against the Viet Nam war, you were party to making things worse for the troops?
(This one, I think he'll slam-dunk.)
What else do you think will be asked. What tone do you think he should take? I think this debate is more important than the first one, because it's Kerry's chance to connect with the people who haven't taken the oppty. to watch his speeches.

1. Next debate is homeland security, economy, domestic issues. No Iraq. |

3. My understanding is that the next debate is on all topics, and the last is |
|
homeland security, economy, etc.
(How can they do homeland security without talking about international terrorism?)

2. Kerry has answered every question at town hall meeting |
|
across the country. This shouldn't been hard for him to answer anything.
