Who was it that said Edwards vs. Cheney is like Atticus Finch vs. Jabba the Hutt?
To be fair, though, I think KKKarl Rove looks more like Jabba the Hutt than Cheney does.

4. I seriously doubt that Cheney will lose his cool. |
|
But Edwards will give him a thorough trouncing anyway. Unlike Holy Joe's performance, which I just caught a bit of on CSPAN.
Edwards is going to expose Cheney for the greedy, evil menace that he is.

8. Well, I would dance for joy if we had a Perry Mason moment |
|
but I think that Cheney is ready for Edwards, unlike Shrubby's performance.
Now, I would not be surprised, however, if a reporter or others in Cheney's proximity might be able to provoke him before Nov. 2.
But he is a guy with focus, and I think he's steeled against Edwards.
If I'm wrong, though, it would be fantastic!

front and center, spotlighted, directly in Cheney's line of sight. For some reason, Cheney doesn't like the nice Senator from Vermont.

12. That would be sweet, but Cheney is a cold, calculating killer. |
|
And a very skilled liar. He is not likely to lose his cool. I do think that he will talk down to Edwards though in an attempt to appear more responsible and mature. I also think that Edwards could work in a reference to Cheney's insulting and profane attack on Leahy as an example of the Bush adminstrations absolute refusal to respect the opinions of others and complete inability to play well with others.

13. I predict that Edwards can & will pull it off. |
|
Kerry knew that saying, "Your father," to the chimp was the equivalent of saying, "yo' momma" on the street.
Edwards is a trial lawyer and Cheney is going to get Cheneyed.
I'm no debater, but if it was me I'd squeeze in something about Cheney's deferred earnings from Halliburton. Like if I steal your wallet and put your money in a safe-deposit box until the statute of limitations expires, does that mean I'm not a thief?
