September Jobs Report Question |
|
Doesn't the September 2004 jobs report come out next week?
I don't know why... But I keep having this horrible feeling that the Bureau of Labor will put out some outstanding, extraordinary, "off the chart", BOGUS report.
I guess I'm being too paranoid. If there's no way they can falsify info like that, lemme' know.
The thought of them issuing some phony data for the last job's report before the election scares the hell out of me. Just tell me there's too many people that oversee and monitor the monthly statistics that are compiled, and I'll stop fretting over it..

1. Not beyond the realm of possibility |
|
Although unlikely, since all the kids will have gone back to school, leaving summer jobs behind.

Thanks for the info.. I was thinking too that end of the summer layoffs have to affect it to some degree. So if for some reason we see it sky-rocket to an absurd increase, maybe they did tamper with the numbers..
You're probably right though. If there is a loss or low to no growth, they'll blame it all on the hurricanes. :freak:

5. job numbers will be up |
|
unemployment numbers will remain flat or adjusted for weather problems etc, ect. they will be nothing to give bush a big plus going into the debates. jobs numbers -deaths ,retires, job change, etc will remain the same ,christmas stocking, christmas mailings, and christmas help is just starting,it may play in the last week of sept but will be larger in oct. figures. nothing that will hurt kerry

The jobs report comes out just before the domestic issues debates.. That's why I don't trust them..
