Matthew Gross venting some spleen on Bush's economic failures
Won't Wait That Long

George Bush defended his reckless Bush Tax in his weekly radio address today:

"We can continue on the path to prosperity and new jobs," Bush said...

But at the rate of 1,000 jobs per month, Mr. President, it would take you fourteen and a half years just to fully employ a number equal to the 174,462 people currently signed up for Dean Meetups. And nearly 47 years to create enough jobs to offset the 563,227 Americans united in common cause to defeat you.

But go ahead; take your time:

"...or we can reverse the course by raising taxes on hardworking Americans," Bush continued. "The choice is clear."

That's right. The choice is clear. George Bush stuck $300 in the front pockets of working Americans and then grabbed $500 or more from our back pockets, and hoped we wouldn't notice. But our tuition went up, our property taxes went up, and our local sales tax went up to help pay the Bush Tax.

We noticed, Mr. President.

And the 174,472 people now signed up for Dean Meetups and the 563,227 Americans who are the Dean campaign don't need your reckless economic policies to create (ever so slowly) low-paying jobs. We're already working hard on the job-- of sending you back to Texas.

Looks like the Dean campaign is starting to get very aggressive.

Love it.

5. Gross is kickin' butt
My favorite line:

"George Bush stuck $300 in the front pockets of working Americans and then grabbed $500 or more from our back pockets, and hoped we wouldn't notice."

George is nothing more than a pick pocketer.
