CSPAN Caller - * Was Hunched Over At The Podium - Had Bullet Proof Vest On
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

caller said that Bush had a bullet proof vest on during the debate and THAT is why he was hunched over during the debate. went on to lambaste the media for not reporting this "fact"

she said, "YOU try and stand there for 90 minutes wearing a heavy bullet proof vest!"

:eyes:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

2. LOL. . . well if it weren't for the fact that modern "bullet proof" vests
aren't exactly heavy anymore since they're made of kevlar and ceramic plates, unlike old style ones which weighted a ton, she might be on to something.

Of course, there's no need for a bullet proof vest when you have 1,000 secret service agents and everyone in the building is searched numerous times.

What a loon. :)

5. Wouldn't put it past Bush to wear one - Paranoid is as paranoid does
But he ALWAYS slouches. Bush has terrible posture. He's eaither slouching over a podium or strutting like a damn rooster - those are his two postures.

8. Exactly
And its more likely he would be standing erect since the plates are counter balanced in the front and back and leaning over would just drag you down.

18. Don't you remember the level of paranoia at his speech at the war college
where he's surrounded by officers and congresspeople and whatnot, but he's got a bunch of SS guys who are stuck to him like glue when he's shaking hands with people? LOL that cracked me up.

And I think he was wearing his vest that day.

If terrorists were to take a crack at the debate site, chances are Bush would need more than a bullet proof vest.

Besides, Kerry doesn't need any protection!

31. I think the paranoid little twit did have a vest on.
But as someone else pointed out, they're not that heavy anymore -- and the really vulnerable spot on an ordinary human being would be the head anyway. Now, I grant you Bush*'s head is his weak point, but still, it would have been awfully hard to hide a Kevlar football helmet, no?

Bushistas wanted the temperature on the stage to be on the hot side, and the Kerry handlers wanted it cooler. The Bushistas won.

The ploy obviously backfired, Bush couldn't take the heat he created, just like 9/11, failing to find Osama, fucking up Iraq, and so on...

Dubya, if you can't take the heat, get the hell out of the White House!

When Bush has Cheney or another handler with him, the handle is used to prop him up. However when he has to stand on his own, Bush will slump, just as any other wooden dummy does!

44. Bush has been hunching over podiums his entire political career
In fact, I thought he did a bit better during the debates than his usual hunch and bob. Usually, he hunches way over the top of the podium and begins bobbing his head up and down to make a point. At his canned political appearances in front of select audiences, he will pan the entire audience 180 degrees while the bobbing of his head from his hunched torso goes on and on and on.
