How Much Lipstick Can You Put on This Pig? |

Granted he shows up, what changes do you think we'll see in Bush?
1. He will smile more (that grin thing) 2. He will pretend to be humble ("I know some folks don't agree with me but...") 3. He will tell lots and lots (oodles and oodles) more "personal" stories (loving ob-gyns and loving families who have lost loved ones in Iraq) 4. He will attempt to ramble off one data point or statistic to feign actual substantive knowledge of a topic. 5. He will mention prescription drugs, 10 times and No Child Left Behind 5.

1. It will be interesting to see if Mark Crispin Miller's theory on shrub |
|
holds true. Crispin Miller has noted that when Bush tries to appear empathetic his "Bushisms" increase greatly. When Bush talks about killing evildoers, he sounds much more articulate.
So in the debate on domestic policies in which Bush will attempt to appear as though he gives a shit about the middle class, his language should become more tortured and unintelligible.
