Kerry signs sprouting up all over Greensboro, North Carolina.

My girlfriend and I went to do a little house hunting yesterday. We visited several middle class neighborhoods and were astounded at the number of Kerry yard signs we saw. Amazing! They outnumbered Bush signs a good 5 to 1.

My favorite was this handwritten sign:

"Kerry sign stolen, just like the 2000 election."

Driving down one side street in Hillsborough (pop. 5500) the other day I saw 19 (!) yard signs and all 19 were Kerry/Edwards!

Hillsborough is just like Mayberry--and apparently Aunt Bea is voting for Kerry!
