2. I had always heard

that Theresa La Pore was a Democrat. This article says she is an independent. If she's not a Democrat, that makes the butterfly ballot she designed in 2000 much more suspicious.

The good news is that she lost her election, and someone else will take over as Palm Beach Election Supervisor after November.
