1. Just had CNN on to see if anything big has happened |
out there and the anchor said that the poll was coming out at 6pm. She seemed a little too happy about it. So this one, my guess, will have * up a few points at least. Now this is the poll that we will all be hearing about.

4. But untrue polls that show * ahead, dont really hurt us |
keeps the Dems energized and allows the reThugs to feel like it's all wrapped up. Sort of like the debates and how surprised *'s handlers were - they were hearing their own BS for so long, they started to beleive it.

2. If they are honest and follow the trend thats present in Newsweek |
(a seven point increase for Kerry), then they should show the race as even (it may have Bush up by 1). I don't think they are honest, though. They will still have it with Bush up by 6 and declare Kerry didn't get a bounce from Bush's meltdown.

12. Gallup overweights republicans by 8% |
so I'd say they'll have Bush up 5%... Since an fairly evenly weighed Newsweek had Kerry up 3%.

18. W's lead so far has been artificial.. |
..its been the result of relenteless mega million dollar assault on a candidate the public barely got to see or hear. For the first time Thursday people go to see them side by side which has undoubtedly cleared up a lot of misconceptions. I guess Kerry's 90 min performance wiped out about $25m worth of advertising.
I would say the natural state of the race at the moment is roughly k/B - 50/45. If you factor in kids with cell phones it will be harder to tell, but I imagine another point or two for Kerry.

20. Whatever the lead will be, it will be for Bush |
so the right-wing noise machine can herald the impact of this poll far and wide to try and stop the Kerry bounce.

19. Zogby has the goods on Gallup |
Trash talk their antiquated methodologies. Gallup can't redeem their tarnished reputation now no matter what result they provide. If they stick to their guns, they will be proved wrong soon even to skeptics, and they cannot afford the shame of changing at this stage.
Take no prisoners. Make Gallup irrelevant.
