Rasmussen Reports Battleground for 10/3
First, Patriots 31, Bills 17 (This is 18 victories in a row, which ties an NFL record)

Rasmussen National 3-day daily tracking numbers of 3,000 voters show a slight Bush increase. At least 1/3 of those polled were before the debate. Bush leads Kerry 49.0% to 45.4%

http://www.rasmussenreports.com

Rasmussen 7-day, daily tracking results of 5 key battleground states, all of which contain more than 2/3 of their info from before the debate, are as follows:

Florida, 51%-46% (Unchanged from yesterday and the fourth day in a row of of a Bush lead of 3 points or more)

Michigan, Tie 46% (The fourth day in a row of identical numbers)

Minnesota, Kerry 48%-46% (The fifth day in a row of a slim Kerry lead, and a one point gain from yesterday)

Ohio, Bush 48%-47% (This is a 2 point Kerry gain from yesterday)

Pennsylvania, Tie 47% (This marks the third day in a row of identical numbers)

Patience, my friends at DU, these numbers will come around as the polling data reflects the debate. Tracking takes time. At least, I hope I'm correct.

2. If the Democrats continue to portray * as imcompetent, I believe those
numbers will begin to turn even more in Kerry's favor. And the more pressure the repubs feel, the more * will fall to pieces. He doesn't have a lot going for him to start with, and this pressure is ruining him. In every picture I see of him campaigning now he looks like a wild man, desperately flailing his arms and tripping over his own lips.
