49/49 LV - a small Bush lead RV - but where are the internals 30 minutes
after release?

The Gallup debate poll had Bush winning several categories, despite losing the debate

Bush over Kerry – 50/45 percent - on more believable

49 / 46 percent on which candidate did better on the issues

48 / 41 on more likable

54/37 on "tough enough"on terror

I'd like to see if these have changed.

Granted Gallup uses a bullshit sample - I am curious about the trend.

41. Doesn't surprise me at all
Shrub just Melted Down on stage, babbling incoherence and mugging strange faces throughout. In short he came off WEIRD and STUPID. It was one of the most embarrassing debate performances ever in American History.

No matter how Shrub's Spinsters try to spin it, everyone knows that Kerry shined with intelligence and professionalism while Shrub looked confused, angry, and lost. It was clear who was the better man for the job.

Most damaging was that the debate revealed a side of Shrub that most people have never seen, the side that his handlers always try to conceal.

25. Or another brainwashed freeper:
"If one debate can cause an 8%-10% swing in voters, then there is no hope for this country. People are too dumbed down to see reality any longer."

Wow...they really should start using mirrors over there to recognize brainwashed idiocy.

36. Oh those cute little rascals!!!
Watching the freeptards the last two days has been a joy -- and not just because their candidate got to make an ass of himself in front of 55 million people -- no wonder they're all sitting around waiting for the Rapture -- they're total "doomsday-ers."

34. dig it, from USA Today, ca sept 28
In a new CNN/USA Today/Gallup survey, conducted Sept. 24-26, President George W. Bush leads Democratic candidate John Kerry by 52% to 44% among likely voters, compared with a 55% to 42% margin he enjoyed in a Sept. 13-15 poll. Bush's job approval is at 54%, almost six points higher than the average rating from May through August. On the issues of Iraq, terrorism, relations with other countries, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and the economy, likely voters prefer Bush to Kerry -- by margins of 6 to 23 percentage points.

40. So when do we hear the word "momentum"? Here's the Gallup shift...
which began before the debate:

Post-debate, Kerry gained 5, and Bush lost 3. Since the 55-42 numbers of Sept. 13-15, Kerry has gained 7, and Bush has lost 6. Gallup's numbers have gone from 55-42 to 49-49.
