wll they say that bush will be trying too hard to be likeable after his first performance.
Is it the same script with bush in the gore role this time?

1. I wish! No, Rove won't let him do that.
I think the town hall forum is going to be a problem for shrub because the topic is domestic issues. That covers such a broad list of topics, there's no way he can be coached to be up on all of them! I think we're going to see him either give an answer that doesn't respond to the question asked, or insert a whole lot of ers, ahs, hms, and many smirks!

4. In 2000 Bush did well in Town Hall as his story telling examples were
"from the heart" - per US Media!

:-)

6. I hope you are correct - but US Media seems ready to sell its soul for
a paycheck - and they think the way to do that is to cover for Bush.

7. And they are covering...but as I said on another thread
we weren't the jury the other night...we were all EYEWITNESSES to an incident...ever try to convince someone that they didn't see what they saw?

2. Bush might not have the ability to adjust
if he was capable of controlling himself, he wouldn't have behaved the way he did on Thursday.

It could be even worse next time, with the added pressure.

3. Oh my! If he's worse in the second debate, what will happen in the
THIRD? A do agree with you that he can't control himself. I keep hearing that his handlers spent the last few weeks coaching him not to smirk, grimace or loose his temper. Well, they got 1 out of 3, huh?
