why don't dems make an issue out of the earpiece?
pugs are going ape over any little thing they can, and there's PLENTY 0' talk out there regarding the earpiece/receiver, etc

why not start talking about it NOW, especially since he seems to be testing the waters for a possible pullout before Friday

I so wish the dems had one hundredth the effrontery of the pug propgandists

they stop at NOTHING

16. I, for one,
don't want to debate the debate anymore. Kerry won. Bush made a fool of himself. End of story. It is the RW that wants us to continue arguing about it. Only if we continue arguing about it can they hope to pull victory from the jaws of defeat.

Let the earpiece thing drop. Let the "cheating" charges drop. Just refuse to indulge them, and let the reality of Kerry's victory stand.

24. fine and good; I agree, BUT the pugs are NOT playing by the same
rules...this is just a suggestion for any possible Kerry worker/lurkers here

when pugs bring up bogus stuff, the dems should bring THIS up as a counter, and put THEM on the defensive

what's so terrible about THAT?

media love this kind of stuff....they HATE talking about substance, candidates' records

they LOVE the drama of people like Screwnose and Gillespie throwing down against each other

see?

25. I just disagree
I don't think we should always offer counter-arguments when the freepers want to argue. When you argue about something you are to some extent conceding that the issue remains unsettled. The issue of the first debate has been settled. Kerry won. The only people who can benefit from further arguing about it are the freepers.

I don't know how old you are, but you need to learn not to let your enemies choose your battles for you.

26. sage advice, oh, wise one, but I also said this can be brought up
by itself

ALSO, pugs are masters of deflection

this could be used to deflect their own negative salvo by turning it back on them, without bothering to answer their own BS, designed to keep dems on the defensive

comprendez?

now, oldster that I am, I retire for my Methusalaic reverie.

3. It's not credible.
Whether true or false it's not politically credible. The American people will not believe Bush needed help to look like that much of a fool.

did you see that totally mendacious ad they've already put out about the Global Test quote, in which they completely make UP stuff regarding what Kerry said?

7. again, who cares?
there's a hell of a lot more circumstantial evidence for this than there is for so many of the BS allegations they've made about JK, to say nothing of the myriad outright lies

check the link above, in which the idea that dumbo is repeating out loud the DIRECTIONS given him by whomever is on the transmitter

how else to explain that?

the point IS, that this should be brought up to PUT THE PUGS on the DEFENSIVE

they were very good at putting DEMS on the defensive today on the gasbag shows, instead of the reverse, which should have been the case

dems are SO bad at playing the attack game; it's pathetic

I have about 9000 posts under my old name, btw

I got knocked off; lost my ID stuff

be more PARANOID about things you disagree with, BTW

check the thread started about the Kerry cheating, why don't you?

then see how wrong you are about what I said here

this is a TACTIC to put them on the defensive. If you can't wrap your mind around that, too bad for you

jesus

now I know what it's like.....

10. it's only one piece of the mosaic, designed to keep the fascists
on the DEFENSIVE

hasn't it been fantastic to seem them trying to right their ship of fools since the debate?

it's vitally important to keep the barrage going; to make THEM answer the questions, instead of determining the parameters of the political discussion, as they've been doing for at least the last six weeks

about cheating. Neither of them cheated. The fact that anyone thinks either of them cheated is totally idiotic.

20. Good job
I think you've done a good job getting these links together for us. I also believe while the forum members here are correct in saying they don't think this will resonate with the American people that they are wrong when they simply dismiss it as "we don't do that here." Bottom line - winning. That is everything and a lot depends on it. Dismissing ideas because "we don't do that here" is foolish when you're sparring with the likes of Karl Rove. Thanks for the work Gabi.

22. thanks, but, what are YOU? a fellow freeper?
better watch what you say around here

that was Hard work! I had to work HARD to come up with this stuff

I work almost as hard as the pretzeldent

too bad the doofi on this thread don't realize that tactics count as much, if not MORE than substance

I've been following the commentary in newspapers, mags, internet, TV, radio, etc., since the debate, and the concentration is BY FAR on the theatrical aspects of this debate

it's not even CLOSE, as far as what they actually said; the media don't CARE, and don't WANT to cover substance. they'd actually have to find out what the candidates' records/previous statements were, and that's HARD

it's much easier to just bloviate on how many times Kerry said "plan," or Bush said ''mixed message''

just think back to 2000, when the overnights had Gore winning, but the MEDIA helped the pugs spin the sighs and the orange skin into a Bush VICTORY, which started the snowball effect, resulting in Bush keeping it close enough to steal it in November

Kerry kicked bush's ASS.

What more is there? Time is better spent writing to media sources and REMINDING their sorry asses who won the debate before they completely put that right wing male procreative unit back in their mouths.

30. An earpiece would be as much a handicap as a boon
for someone as talentless and lazy as Bush. it is a crutch he cannot use well when he has ANOTHER focus of attention. An unexpected questioner, a dynamic debate, an upset mind and it is as good as being schizophrenic(if he isn't that anyway).

They should curse the day they ever picked someone who couldn't memorize lines and think on his feet without smirking like a self-pleased little boy.

I still would like to see them jam that sucker(if he uses it) anyway, but then I am particularly vengeful.

The legend(spreading and more believable as time goes on) is as valuable as the exposure, a trick the GOP brought upon themselves with their insistence on whispering campaigns.
