I don't think we have a problem with skewed polls here.

No matter how well we know Kerry/Edwards are doing, we can always go for a mandate ;)

To me, its not the quesiton of winning, its by how much now!

11. Tied? Then we lead. gallup guy on AAR said they poll more GOP-ers

because 'party identification changes daily". After 911, everyone identified as GOP. during the primaries, everyone was Dem, now it just happens that 12% GOP-ers were in their sample...
And just like Zogby, after being exposed in 2000 of favorin Bush, started to show Gore ahead (and fool anyone into "credibility") so does Gallup, in damage control mode lays of a little thinner the W crap.
