Zogby just gave me an on-line poll...
It was pretty much what I have seen posted here by others in terms of the questions. So, I basically told them I was a die hard liberal that wouldn't vote for monkey boy if he was running for dog catcher.

However, there was one question in particular that puzzled me:

Do you have a valid US passport ?

What demographic is that ? The group that does international travel ? The others about being a member of the investor class etc I could ses.... but that one was just strange. Any thoughts ?

Thanks,

MZr7

3. I have taken the Zogby online poll many times
and the passport question is almost always asked near the end. I connected it to a news report saying that Americans had been polled about whether or not they had passports and the vast majority did not. The post-poll report also linked this to these Americans not expressing any desire to travel to foreign countries or to learn about other cultures. Perhaps most republicans don't have passports and most Democrats, being interested in the world around them, do.

7. Best answer I have heard....
That makes pretty good sense and your hypotheses is true at least in my case. I do have a valid passport and I am interested in other cultures.

Thanks!

11. Has the number of respondents with passports Increased?
A rush of new passport applications WOULD be significant.

12. I don't know that information, but I will look around at the Zogby site
to see what I can find out.

6. I just completed my third Zogby poll.
The passport demographic has weighed heavily in John Kerry's favor, almost 2 to 1 I think. I think the significance is the voter's world view, although this year it could also indicate voters prepared to leave if * steals another one.

8. The Directorate of Homeland Security
is trying to identify all liberals who are flight risks. If you answered 'yes' you'll be picked up first should bushco remain in power.
(Just kidding, I hope...)

9. Glad I saw this thread
'cause after I took the Zogby survey I wondered about that question, too. Don't know why it comes across as slightly sinister, but it does. Probably just paranoia.
