I was at the VFC (moveon) Tour in Cleveland last night and it was awesome! Kicked off with emoRocker Bright Eyes - a cross bt. Kurt Cobain and early Dylan. The show really started when Michael Stipe brought his energy and REM on stage. Stipe was dressed in all white suit with a Kerry T shirt. Then the Boss and the entire E Street Band rocked the stage. John Fogerty joined in with Fortunate Son and other classics. Stipe came back and joined the party. Ended after midnight (4 1/2 hour show) with a jam session by all! The music was awesome, the message was clear, and the Dems were stoked!
After the concert www.bustmustgo.com was distributing huge BUSH MUST GO! posters. Go their web site for a free bumper sticker.
Gund Arena was a liberal nirvana with everyone donned in pro-Kerry, anti-Bush clothes and paraphernalia. You could feel the energy.
If it comes to your area I suggest you go. Tickets can be had at face value at the venue (except the Finale)
