Why I really believe Kerry will win
In the last few weeks, a few interesting things have happened to me that could only spell victory for Kerry.

My mother has voted Republican in the last 7 elections. She would not even listen to me or my sister when we would talk about how bad Bush is. That is until she was told her job will be fazed out in the next year (she is 60). NOW she is voting for Kerry.

My husband is in the National Guard and just finished six months of training on a military base. I am very happy he is home, but when he first got home, all he could do was sing the praises of Bush. After four weeks of getting real information (from me and real news outlets, not an Army base) he has already changed his mind and will vote Kerry.

I live in a very conservative state - IN. After this debate I have had three people call me to discuss the outcome and to express their disgust with our President. Before all of this, I could never find anyone who would even remotely agree with me on any political issue.

I am beginning to see Kerry/Edwards signs everywhere - in Indiana!

No state should be considered an automatic vote for a certain candidate. If Kerry performs with the same prowess in the next two debates, Kerry will win by a landslide.

1. If Kerry takes Indiana, we can all turn in for the night.
In my experience, when Indiana goes for the Dem presidential candidate, it's a landslide. Good luck and keep up the good work.

6. I doubt Indiana
is in play but I saw some polls where Bush was beating Kerry by 10-14. This is slightly less than what he beat Gore by.

If Bush wins Indiana by just a little more than 10 points (or better yet single digits) we know that this election is over.

After the debates, I'm thinking that Kerry will be comfortable in most Gore states. He can now try to focus more on states like WI, IA, OH, FL, WV, and NH...
