Voting turnout always favors the Democrats- look at 92. Young voters turned out in crowds to vote for Clinton, but not so much in 2000.

9. Al Gore didn't really excite young people in 2000, in fact |
|
I was a first time voter and voted for Nader (I know, I know)... I'm still in college and I do not know a single young person who plans on voting for shrub (or nader for that matter)... I don't think 18-25 is a demographic we have to worry about.

3. I think 18-25s are roughly 2-1 Kerry in the last economist poll |
|
but he's under-performing among the seniors.

I would be so ashamed of my generation if they voted for W.
With regard to the senior, Kerry needs to make an issue out of the medicare thing. My friends grandparents, VERY religious Catholics, are furious that their medicare costs have gone up, and are voting for Kerry.

6. I can relate. The Medicare prescription card has messed me up |
|
royally. I was in a program where I got certain prescriptions for 15 dollars. It was cancelled and I have to use the damn Medicare card which I haven't received yet. The cost of the prescription before the card business was 86 dollars which I got for 15. They raised the price to 166.00. That is why we seniors are so pissed off. I think the reason for all this is so we will die off and then they will not have to pay SS.

5. 25 y/o males where I work |
|
are for the idiot because he's "strong" and "tough", ie they think he's macho, and that's an, ableit a tiny, extension of their manhood. However, I would like to point out, as a female, I could take out any of these jerks. So much for their machismo, eh?

10. They'll be able to show theirs too if their macho man is elected. |
|
The draft is right around the corner. Also tell them to see Farenheit 911. Let them see how the Marines are going to parking lots of malls and trying to snag young guys they're so desperate for people. They'll love the Middle East.
