his parents were too busy playing the role of Ambassador & wife, CIA head & wife, VP & wife (Babs got more mileage out of that title "and wife" than any woman in history), etc. Georgy41 was too busy trying to move up in the world, stealing millions, padding a resume, and screwing his secretary (14 years!) to be bothered with the family. Babs was too busy playing the grand dame to notice the kids much. The kids were pitted against each other and the parents in competition for their own jollies. They, also, farmed the kids out to family, friends, neighbors and boarding school so Poppy and Babs could see and be seen on the social scene. Nasty couple, raised self-absorbed, shallow kids who think they are of an upper class and the world owes them everything their dark little hearts desire. So much for the family values clan. Yuck.
