It's July 4th, 2004 and the candidate has been chosen....

He surprised a lot of people. He didn't do well in the Iowa caucus but better than anyone had anticipated. He declared himself the winner in NH, even though he did not win the primary. He came in first in SC, even beating out the favorite son. He shocked people with wins in Arizona and Oklahoma. After that, the Party got behind him and pushed him as the nominee of the Party. Eventually they saw that he had the courage and backbone to defeat the Bush regime. Who was that masked man? :)

8. If the nominee is Dean or Kerry, no worries...
they can start campaigning against Bush immediately.

If the nominee is someone else, he or she will have to sit quietly until the FEC releases federal matching funds after Labor Day.

Advantage: Bush.
