Bush's "good point"
Bush said "how can we persuade nations to join us in Iraq if we also tell them that we see it as a "grand diversion" or as the "wrong war at the wrong time"? Whenever this is brought up, the pundits say "good point." But the ANSWER to this is obvious.

Our allies ALREADY KNOW that Iraq is a "grand diversion" and the "wrong war at the wrong time." And trying to prove otherwise is a waste of time. But what we CAN prove to them is that, now that the war is on, it is in NOBODY'S interest to see Iraq turn into a failed state. Since we cannot turn back the clock, the world has a keen interest in cleaning up that mess. And John Kerry offers leadership that recognizes the realities of the Iraq war.

1. BUSH'S GOOD POINT
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 12:18 AM by CAPTAINZING
I'm not sure if, this link was in today's thread or not . This to me is very bad as to how we've been seen in the eyes of the world. No one could blame us after 9/11 for going to the Taliban and ridding them of there power. Not going after Bin Laden left Bush suspect. With no weapons of mass destrucion and the prison abuse, is it any wonder this link speaks of how badly we're seen.

2. At least if you take him to a bar and then he drinks
You don't have to pay for the beer. You could also make a quick buck by showing the drunken chimp drinking his own piss. Of course the downside is you might not have anything to drink after he gets through with the place. I hear this works great right before debate night.

3. It IS a Good Point -- For US
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 01:16 AM by AndyTiedye
It IS the wrong war at the wrong time, and even having Bush say that
to condemn it plants the meme a little more.

It's like the way the "not your father's Oldsmobile" ads helped to sink
that brand a little faster.

The actual argument Boosh is trying to make doesn't hold water.
The rest of the world will be so relieved if we succeed in removing the usurper peacefully that they will willing to help Kerry clean up the mess.

5. "If it was a mistake to break it, why bother fixing it up?"
Can you imagine if people thought that way?

If a child spilled a glass of chocolate milk while engaged in bad behavior, why bother cleaning it up?
