5. Good. But this is a new poll and we're not talking about that AP poll.
Or I can bring up that CNN/TIME poll showing Dean doing best against Bush. Or that new FOX poll showing Dean doin' best against Bush.

4. Dean low Negs show Gallup Poll Aberration
"Still, only 17 percent of them have an unfavorable opinion of the former Vermont governor, compared with the 59 percent who say they view him favorably."

7. The key is, all three are within single digits of Bush
BTW, Bush's disapproval rating is over 40 in this poll (41 percent) and it's at 42 percent in the Ipsos poll for AP. We need to get it higher, but it's nice to see it above 40 percent again.

9. this is very good for all of our candides
to be within single digits of Bush. I think that Gallup poll is distoted with Dean 20-points behind. Most other polls back up this survey and show a tighter race.

16. Not nearly as much people watch CNN
You can't be serious. First off, not that many people watch CNN. Second, I don't pay attention to excatly WHO is doing the commentary. Third, people don't talk about hosts they saw on TV, they talk about presidental candidates. Fourth, Dean's style and views don't go over well with most of the country whereas Clark's do. The more people look into the views (which yes is different then just seeing a guy running for president speak on TV for a couple of seconds), Dean's number would fall and Clark's would rise.

18. Where I live
For the run up to the war and the 6 weeks after, everyone I knew was glued to CNN; I suspect not much of the country was radically different. Clark has had plenty of exposure, and has in fact dropped since he first announced, nationwide, while Dean has risen.

17. These polls seem to be all over the map
Some of the differences are within the margin or error, but the fluctuation among polls is amazing. I guess you need to look at trends among each poll, rather than the actual number.

19. AP & Gallup = Rove's Whores
Dean is a great candidate who has the ability to weather a media onslaught and come out swinging.
