Bush aide removes something from podium after debate.

Anyone remember this? After both candidates had left, the camera was still fixed on the stage. Then a man in a suit came from behind the curtains and walked over to Bush's podium, removed something, and then walked back off stage. Anyone else see that?

how violently he turns pages? Sounds dumb I guess but I've noticed that. Then he picks out someone in the audience to stare at, making the audience member uncomfortable. AND the way he walks a few feet in front of everyone. Nobody gets to walk beside him. They're always behind him. Done by design I guess but it makes me dislike him even more.

I thought it was really strange. What could have been so important that an aide would have to rush to the PRESIDENT'S podium right after the stage was cleared, to grab something and run right away.

What would require that sort of urgency? Why would ANYTHING need to be taken from the podium?

No podiums, no pens, no lumps on the backs of jackets....and they have to hold their hands up to the camera to prove there are no notes written on their palms.

...and yep, aide comes from backstage, gathers the papers left at the Bush podium, and hurriedly crosses the stage to leave with the papers rolled up in his left hand.

noticed it on the repeat - done right after JK & Teresa left the stage. I waited to see if anyone took Kerry's notes - didn't see it.

Someone posted a hilarious thing about * "notes" during debate - filled with silly drawings, etc. It was great!
