Bu*h in Des Moines
I went home for lunch and found out Bu*h was in town today. He signed some silly bill at a south side YMCA and then went to a political event in West Des Moines - nice he could have some official business here so he can charge taxpayers for his campaign trip.

Anyway, on the local news Bu*h is acting all triumphant about his tax giveaway - saying how a local family told him how greatful they were because their $300 credit on something allowed them to purchase a new wood burning stove for their house. He was gloating about it. I wonder if he realizes that people have to use wood burning stoves because home heating oil and natural gas prices are outrageous????

3. And He's Hiding In Repugnican Areas...
Guess he wasn't gonna try and sign that thing in Iowa City...ya think? LOL

I have a lot of faith in the Hawkeye state...they've voted the right way in every election since '88 and they're not gonna get it wrong this time. As an Iowan friend said, "we put Kerry in there, damn if we're not gonna make sure he wins."

Cheers!

4. Kerry will win
In Iowa due to the absentee ballots. We have a gread precinct level organization throughout the state. The R's have a lot more money, but we have the people to put in the hours to get the vote out through absentee ballots.
