Here's hoping the right-wingers keep up the "Kerry Cheated" claims |
|
First of all, every minute they spend claiming Kerry brought in paper, note cards, etc. is a minute they won't spend on more substantive issues (not that they'd do a particularly good job at those either). But, more importantly, it'll be a sign that they haven't recognized the reality of the situation. The classic 12-step program (which it's fairly clear W never participated in) requires the participant to first acknowledge he has a problem. As long as Bush and his flunkies believe they're doing the debates the right way, and its the fault of Kerry / Left-wing Media / biased pollsters, etc, they won't be able to recognize their own problems and try to fix them.

2. Substansive Issues? Shirley, You Jest... |
|
Sorry, didn't mean to call you Shirley...
I kinda like 'em chasing their tails...keeps them from releasing more Slimeboat crap (that dog's played out), and makes them look even more goofy and paranoid to the rational majority in this country.
The media's pissed at us right now cause they been had and we know it...they're compromised and marginalized on both sides now. Kerry's great performance last Thursday may have just started the long turning of the corner where their noise will stay inside echo chamber and out of the mainstream.
In the meantime, let 'em get as petty as they want. This is not spin we're seeing here, this is denial.

Anyone watching saw Bush cheated, if cheating means breaking one of the rules, when he interrupted Kerry (to tell America he kept his daughters "leashed" of all things). Now they have to claim Kerry cheated, so they're saying he cheated in some James Bond type way.

6. Bush Blows Debate: Talks to Rove in Earpiece! |
|
During the Presidential Debate Bush made what may be his most costly error- he exposed that he’s using an earpiece to help him answer debate questions. In the middle of an answer bush said, "now let me finish" as if someone was interrupting him - yet nobody did - he was talking to the person in his earpiece. http://bellaciao.org/en/article.php3?id_article=3562
