Election Night Victory Plans
Not getting over confident, but I am curious what DUers have planned when we win on Nov 2nd. I like that line in American President when MJ Fox talks about sitting down with a big steak and recalling all of the people that f***** the president. I will probably do something similar but will add in an expensive bottle of pinot noir. At some point I will hold my newborn and explain to him how his life will now be better off b/c of Kerry.

If we lose, I might start country shopping.

3. I plan to sleep well and wear a raincoat the next day
to keep all these little freeper heads from assploding and covering me with applesauce or whatever it is they're using for brains.

Mostly, and I say this with all humility, I intend to be a VERY BAD WINNER.

10. What do you want to bet Chimpy won't give a concession speech?
He'll probably just have his campaign issue a concession statement.

I'm going to sign on to hannity.com and have lots of fun.

and then fly to Paris the next day (the tickets are already booked). And then have another bottle of Champagne and hotel sex - since * has been in office our love life has sucked. I'm blaming the bastard for that as well as the war.

20. I won't rest until the Electoral College has had its vote
I'm sure Karl Rove has a plan to rig the Electoral College. You know, just in case the American democratic system picks the "wrong guy".

21. I will play the Finale from Les Miserables
Do you hear the people sing
Lost in the valley of the night?
It is the music of a people
Who are climbing to the light.

For the wretched of the earth
There is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end
And the sun will rise.

They will live again in freedom
In the garden of the Lord.
They will walk behind the plough-share,
They will put away the sword.
The chain will be broken
And all men will have their reward.

Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
It is the future that they bring
When tomorrow comes!

Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
It is the future that they bring
When tomorrow comes...
Tomorrow comes!
