I'm losing track...

Bush was tired from meeting hurricane victims
Bush was betrayed by Rove
Kerry brought notes
Kerry had an earpiece (yes, they're claiming that)
Kerry had a pda

what others?

Oh, and by the way freepers - the reason he lost is because he's a dumb as a sock.

9. Tie Gate!
Kerry purposefully askewed Bush's tie when they shook hands at the beggining of the debate.

Jim Lehrer stacked the deck against Bush.

12. lol
having now watched the debate, read the transcript and heard it on the radio, what the hell is that substance I keep hearing about? The boy had nothing, nothing at all but 3 or 4 talking points that he used like Rush uses Oxycontin - continuously and abusively.

14. Substance.
I think the looney tune crowd confuse his fakey tough guy, kick-ass, no turning back, same old song and dance for substance instead of the meglomaniacal, knee-jerk, can't admit a mistake, miserable failure that it really is.

Hell, they believe he's a cowboy ... and he's afraid of horses!!

Though I haven't yet seen any excuses for Stupidhead that mention the mighty, mighty Clenis. It's probably just a matter of time, though.

17. "Debates don't matter...it's the candidate's record."

Yeah, if your candidate slumped over
the podium, mouthing a few tired soundbites
repeatedly, instead of defending his
past record of four years...you'd want
the focus to be on anything other than
that debate.

Bush has a record.

20. Ultimately, Only 1
They all boil down to "It Wasn't HIS Fault!"

You know, I think Bush might just jump a point or two if he admitted that it was HIS fault that he sucked. It wasn't a trick, it wasn't a cold, it wasn't a holiday, he didn't need a nap, there were no alerts, he blah blah blah..

If you want to own your successes, you have to own your faults as well.
