If Iraq was Football "A Humorous Analogy"
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 02:58 PM by Quixote1818
United States vs Iraq on Monday Night Football

I knew Kerry would man handle Bush and turn the whole flip, flop thing around on Bush during the debate. I was trying to think of putting this whole thing into terminology that the average American could understand. We all know the only reason Kerry has changed his opinion about the war is because Bush keeps screwing everything up. It reminds me of a football game where the coach keeps calling the wrong plays and so the team looses every time. So Kerry who wants the job as football coach originally thinks it's a good game plan but then sees the new coach does not execute the plays right and keeps loosing so Kerry changes his mind and wants a new plan. So the idiot coach who keeps doing things wrong starts calling Kerry indecisive and continues doing things wrong but instead of the fans wanting to get rid of this guy, they think he is a great leader??????? OMFG!!!! It's like calling a coach who is 0-11 a great leader!!! Sometimes I wonder about this country! If this were Football, Bush would have been long gone a long time ago! Instead, half the country wants to hang on to a coach who looses every game and wont change his game plan EVER! You can bet your money that if Iraq were football the fans would understand things a lot better. For some reason people just don't tune in enough to the details of politics like they do Football. That shows you the sad affair of things here in America.

1. Similar Thoughts
When Bush said "the best defense is offense", it immeadiately reminded me of "the best offense is defense" and "defense wins championships". Most everyone in sports knows the phrase "defense wins championships" Maybe it should be repeated more.

Also, remember the run and shoot offense.......it failed.

2. Perhaps if Bush had played sports rather than be a cheerleader he would
make better decisions. Now we know why he did so poorly with the Texas Rangers.
