The first thing I saw was Oregon as leaning Bush. That was when I knew that the data was flawed. As a long time Oregon politico, I know how Oregon is going to go this year and it will be Kerry by +4 or more.

I concluded that the site was using flawed data. Small sample state polls with inbuilt flaws are only one part of the equation... history and voting trends are far more important in projecting the race.

Say Kerry wins this election, despite "the Nader vote", then nobody will ever pay any attention to Nader anymore. No one will mention him in the papers or on cable talk shows. No one will invite on cable shows and ask him why he's running. Basically, no one will give a shit what he does. So he wants to steal the election from Kerry so that people will remember his name.
