Homemade lawn sign at freeper's house on my corner.
No, I'm not kidding - I swear. Don't have a camera handy, or I would take a picture and post it.
Please, Jesus -- get me out of Cincinnati...

How ignorant can you get!
Looks like the "Clenis" m.o. (e.g. "It's Clinton's fault")
(Obviously these people have never heard of Roe v. Wade, or just don't want to acknowledge the law)

It's a lame homemade sign (black paint on a white background), so it could easily be misread, but it actually looks like this:
HEY KERRY ABORTION'S KILLED 40,000,000 AMERICANS
I suppose the freeper's rationale is, "Hey, Bush has only killed 1,000 Americans!" :eyes:

It's still ridiculous though: How many dead in Afghanistan? How many dead in Iraq? How many ignored dead in The Sudan, Haiti, etc.?
Someone should point that out to these people.

Foreigners exist only in two categories for freepers:
1. Members of "The Coalition of the Willing" 2. Terrorists

14. Roe v Wade is Kerry's fault? |
|
Or are they suggesting that Kerry himself does abortions?
Ask your neighbor why the Republicans, who control the White House, both houses of Congress, and the Supreme Court, haven't lifted a finger to overturn Roe v Wade.
Just ask them.

16. The apostrophe-s is on "ABORTION'S" not "KERRY" |
|
I believe the translation from the moran would go something like:
"Hey, Kerry! Abortion has killed 40,000,000 Americans!"
Thankfully, a lawn sign doesn't have to explain itself. It just sits there pissing off the neighbors.

RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISM HAS KILLED MORE PEOPLE IN HISTORY THAN ANYTHING ELSE
Edit: Obviously, you're not the dipshit, the freeper is. Just don't want to be misunderstood.

4. "John Kerry? He's a baby killer" |
|
That was a sign some guys held up in their window on the freeway one day. They passed us, slowed down, and held up the sign as we passed them.
I made a sign that said "John Kerry had an abortion????? When?????" and we went back by them again. They were just shaking their heads saying they didn't understand.

Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 03:49 PM by Bluzmann57
If they are "his" abortions, then he must have become a physician and nobody knows about it. Maybe you should ask that person that question. Unless he or she is some kind of pschyco(likely). on edit-never mind, I misread the post. Sorry.

9. Yet another delusion held by Freepers is... |
|
is that the Supreme Court invented abortion. None of the asswipes stop to think that abortion was legal in some jurisdictions and obtainable even in ones where it was illegal. These nuts think that abortion will go away if outlawed. No it won't. Unwanted pregnacies will still happen and women will seek ways to terminate them like they did before Roe v Wade.

Obviously a moran. Has no idea how to use the possessive.
Who is "Kerry Abortion" and what is a killed? No child left behind, you say? This one was left far, far behind.

|
...but giving the freeper the benefit of the doubt, he/she could mean "Abortion has killed 40 million Americans" and used the apostrophe-s that way.
The message is still beyond boneheaded.

Exactly one block away from my house is a lawn sign that is a shrine to Alan Keyes.
I kid you not... in the heart of Chicago. Maybe my neighborhood is heavily republican (but my Alderman is Dem and so is my Rep) because there isn't any political signs except for that Keyes sign. When I go past the sign I start laughing too hard that the neighbors stare at me.
Maybe next time I should go down to the house in my DU.com shirt and have a laugh and see what people do.

Or if every life is so sacred, then why is it okay to kill 1000's of innocent children in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Oh and one last question, when was the last time you held an AIDS baby or a crack baby?
Now tell me again about the 'right' to life.
