Is "Pathetic" the New Anti-Bush Meme?

Kerry used "pathetic" to describe the "global test" criticism. I've seen the word applied on DU today to some other Bush campaign arguments (JoFerret's thread in LBN).

It sums my personal response to most of these Republican talking points recently. And avoids the danger of sinking into minutiae and I-say-you-say arguments. No need for detailed justifications. Just point out that they're pathetic arguments.

The Bush campaign got nothin'. They're grasping at straws. Their attempts to discredit Kerry are...say it with me...PATHETIC.

This can even apply to when he tries to look "tough" with attack ads - often disingenuous, and thus, pathetic.
