LANSING, Mich. (AP) - More than 180 former ambassadors, including one-time U.S. Ambassador to Canada James Blanchard, endorsed Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on Monday.

He has no use for diplomacy. Nuke 'em. That's his diplomacy. I suspect that some government servants have some October surprises of their own.

This is really big news. It's a stinging indictment of Bush that former Dem & Republican diplomats would endorse Kerry.

However, this only has impact if it is communicated correctly, something the Kerry campaign has not been doing a good job of IMHO. (whatever happened to all those nobel prize scientists that endorsed Kerry?)
