Nasty, Deceptive New Bunnypants Ads
I just saw one that is using the term "Kerry & the Liberal Congressional Democrats"...with sinister music in the background and spewing the lie that it's these people that are ruining the country.

The real kicker is the ad is only 22 or so seconds...it goes to a complete fade to black...then after a deliberate pause, then you hear Bunnypants voice come on. It does grab your attention...and in a sneaky fashion.

I noticed this on the last batch of ads...looks like some psy-ops at work here.

1. I was just telling hubby I only heard *'s voice say I approve this message
They could play those all day, if people are like me. I have no idea what it's about, and don't want to.

2. I have no idea WTF you wrote - I'm just laughing at the avatar!
No, seriously, I haven't seen that one, but I have seen some nasty ones here in PA - I have seen the new Global Test one and the one with the vet widows. Aid and comfort to the enemy, blah, blah

4. Right; from this kind of advertisment...

...you'd never guess that the GOP has control of the Supreme Court, both houses of Congress, and the Whitehouse.

Totally emblematic of their refusal to accept responsibility for their failures.

10. Not Really Going After The Lower Races Is Hurting
I know we need to grab the Executive and boot out these usurpers and profiteers, but it'd be nice to do a clean-up job in the House and send that pest exterminator to the back benches.

Our greatest troubles began the day Gephardt handed that gavel to Gingrich and Congress has gone to hell ever since.

This meme of blaming Congressional Democrats has worked very effectively for the GOOP (demonizing Daschele anyone???) and I hope, one day, money and organization will be put to work to destroy this real root of this nation's greatest problems.

We need a reverse "Contract On America"...hopefully a goal for 2006.

6. I'm in Central Wisconsin...
these ads are running two at a time now. The Progress for America or whatever crap it is ad has been severely overplayed. Especially when people hear...."PRESIDENT BUSH DIDN'T START THIS WAR..."
