1. I'm also doing the second one, but I can't vote for 2
Boohoo :-(

I've been volunteering at the dems office and donating money. And giving people bumper stickers.

6. Invited by the GOP
I've been bitching to WH so much that I've been invited to donate $2000 and attend a party in DC! Get stuff in mail on occasion from GOP, too.

I've been inputting canvassing data into computer files and also canvassing and have donated to MoveOn.org and MoveOn.pac and DNC and local Dems.

So my vote is really "all of the above". I hope others will step up their efforts and maintain the pressure.

Thanks.

3. Voting for Kerry/Edwards on November 2
And yes, there's more of course.

I'm an election judge and no WAY will there be any Florida type shenanigans going on in MY precinct.

7. Voter Registration, Absentee Ballot at the office
I've registered about 150 people through work; we have offices overseas so I concentrated efforts there too. Now I'm doing absentee ballot applications and I'm arranging for someone who is sworn in as a citizen after the October 8th deadline to get out of work to register in person.

plus I work and have a preschool child. So no canvassing, etc.

However, I am an editor of a newsletter for a Democratic Club and I work hard getting stories, articles, information and so on out there to our members. On top of that, my husband and I have given more money than we can afford to the DNC, Move On, Kerry, ACT, etc.
Oh, I forgot, I wrote a commentary thing that went on Buzzflash awhile back, so hopefully a few people read it and were influenced to think. (I read in their mailbag that one lady made copies of it and left them in bathrooms, laundromats, etc.!)

Still, I wish there was something more I could do or rather that I had more time and energy to do more.

13. Manned a booth at a fair. Asked what office supplies they need...
and buy/deliver them on a regular basis. Our area needs any clip board they can get and paper. They are so happy when I show up with this stuff. Buy volunteers all sorts of food. Give money often. Work all day 11/2 on GOTV. Bust my ass at my profession to pay my brat's bills so she can contribute 30 hours a week. Not enough. Met a guy who gave up his f'ing job for 4 months to run things at major Dem operation. Just awesome. What a prince!

14. The first one
In addition, I'm on visibility patrol: I wear a button, I have signs and bumper sticker for my car, and I buy and hand out yard signs and buttons.

Today I also did much data entry.

17. Ive personally registered about 100 people.
And informed at least 100 others on how and where to vote.

Most of them democrats... I put a good number of hours into voter registration drives.

19. I live in Indiana
If Satan hisself ran as a Republican, the Democrat might only win by two points. On the other hand, I'm working to get the two people in my sig elected. Especially since Kernan could beat Mitch IPALCO Daniels and Jennings wants to take out John "I am a crazy right-wing fucktard who talks about gay marriage and abortion all the time" Hostettler.

21. I've been doing "Phone Corps"
"Phone Corps" is calling Kerry supporters in swing states to tell them about volunteering opportunities. I did some phone-banking last Sunday from a campaign office to Ohio to identify Kerry supporters and undecided voters. I have gone and am going to Kerry meet-ups and rallies. I have donated a lot of money (for me) to the campaign and to progressive groups. I also have three Kerry bumperstickers on my car.
