Today this right wing nut job walks into my husband's
office wearing his b/c button and seeing my husband's K/E button asks him who does he think should run in the next presidential election. Well of course hubby states K/E two terms will be followed by Edwards running.

Of course the RW guy says b/c will win and then says he is looking forward to "Condi Rice" running in '08 and wouldn't it be great if she ran against Hillary because Rice would definitely win. The RW nut then went on to talk about how great Rice is and how smart she is.

My husband just laughed at him.

My gawd, Rice running for prez. What is wrong with these people?

4. There was talk about Rice going up against Feinstein in '06.
Unless Iraq has a very sudden and very positive outcome, that's out the window.

5. They're lying
Most right-wingers are either closet racists or out-in-the-open racists. They also hate women. No way would they ever nominate a black woman for president. Not these right-wingers.

Note I am not saying the Republican Party - I'm saying the right-wing wackos that have control of the party at this time.

8. I was thinking that also. I woman is one thing but a black
woman would just really throw the rednecks into a tizzy.

Funny thing too is we live in NC that is why I am so flabbergasted that this "southern" guy would even say this.

9. True, they hate anything non white, but
the racist right has seen how well "uncle" Clarence Thomas has worked out for them, and probably feel confident enough that Condi will do their bidding as well. To paraphrase Harry Belafonte, the Republicans have full control of their "house slaves".

6. Condescending Rice
Just think how many white Republicans would be able to assure themselves that they surely could not be racist because "I voted for Condoleezza Rice!"

7. My insurance agent is a Bible thumping Bush supporter
i wore my ...John Kerry, bringing complete sentences back to the whitehouse shirt to his office when i got my new car. He starts giving me good natured crap(not really good natured mind you). "Oh my vote will cancel yours" and someother shit. "I will cancel my car and homeowners policy if you don't stop insulting Kerry and lying about him". "Then i will call Farmers and lodge a complaint against your office". He said he was sorry, i think he meant it, he said he didn't realize how mean it sounded and offputting it was.

13. I Will Not Do Business, Ever
with a company or a person who displays Bush signs.

They have every right to express their views, and I have every right to spend my money any way and any where I choose.

10. I think your hubby's reaction was perfect: LAUGH at these nitwits.
It's just not worth any breath arguing with wingnuts. Laugh in their faces and leave it at that. :D

11. Rednecks Voting For A Black Woman?
NFW! LOL. We're seeing how hard it is for the kool-aid drinkers to support Alan Keyes here in Illinois.

BTW...wasn't Colin supposed to run, too? Whatever happened to Colin? Anyone seen him lately? Is he too busy campaigning like he was in 2000? Fixing problems? LOL.

In 2008, Condi will be teaching "Cold War 423" at some wingnut college.
