I've been wearing an "Another Christian for Kerry" since July and given away several to people who admired them.

10. No, and I don't think they wish to be. It's their way |

of thumbing their noses at the Moral Majority.
I do the same thing with my own Christianity page by calling it "Would Jesus love a liberal? You bet!"
Ticks RWers off to no end. *lol*

20. No, but as a Christian, I'd like to take back my faith... |
|
...that's being distored by that chimp in the White House.
If wearing my "Another Christian for Kerry" can show Christians that there is another choice for President other than some guy who says he's a Christian but doesn't act like one, then who are you to judge me for reaching out to another group of voters.
I wore my Christian/JK shirt to the local PetSmart where I was picking up some cat food. I had 2 different people come up and told me how they liked my shirt proclaiming that I am a Christian and I support Kerry. One even wanted to know where they could buy the same shirt.

Got myself a C4KE button & bumper sticker. Have the button on my jacket, which I wore to church on Sunday. One person asked me, "What's your button say?" When I told him, he said, "Cool!"

22. Just going to church with my Kerry button helped me |
|
I decided to go everywhere with my Kerry button when I realized I kept taking it off every time I was going somewhere I thought that people wouldn't like it. Struck me that I was being a chicken, that I either supported Kerry or I didn't.
So I wore it to church. And 9 out of the 10 people who commented said something good. I was surprised to find out how "democratic" my church is. Made me feel good actually. I've been getting yard signs and buttons for those who wanted them at church, since I'm the one who goes down to HQ the most. There's a teacher who contacted them herself and a lawyer who sees that the middle class is shrinking and that Bush and Co. has declared war on lawyers.
My pastor voted for Bush last time, and just can't do it this time. He's unsure of Kerry, but not open for alot of talk. Luckily the parish secretary is a Kerry supporter. She's working on him.
If nothing else, like my brother it will be a vote lost to Bush and gained for Nader. Another lost Bush vote can't hurt.
