I'm serious. The official Whitehouse web site gets a 404 File Not Found when you click on the "Who are the Coalition members?" on from this page (under Documents on right side)

12. I see. I thought you were referring to the above link.
Maybe they're updating it since Poland has announced she's pulling out.

6. Good catch
They pulled Costa Rica but Costa Rica had to ask them to do it. Guess they didn't want to give Edwards ammunition (like that's going to hold him back).

10. I don't know about the WH site, but here's a link to the countries
in the coalition, and the number of troops supplied by each one.

Too bad Kerry wasn't allowed to bring charts to the debate!

Hell of a coalition, huh!

13. According to archive.org there were once 49
it looks like they actually pulled that page around Feb. 2004 and have left it unlinked since then.

16. Yes, it's wrong because it is as of 12/2003.
There have been several countries pull out since. The main on that comes to my mind is Spain and their 1300 troops.

Things are changing so quickly, I don't know if there IS a current list!

Poland announced today that they were pulling out at the end of 2005.

Forty-nine countries are publicly committed to the Coalition, including:

Afghanistan
Albania
Angola
Australia
Azerbaijan
Bulgaria
Colombia
Costa Rica
Czech Republic
Denmark
Dominican Republic
El Salvador
Eritrea
Estonia
Ethiopia
Georgia
Honduras
Hungary
Iceland
Italy
Japan
Kuwait
Latvia
Lithuania
Macedonia
Marshall Islands
Micronesia
Mongolia
Netherlands
Nicaragua
Palau
Panama
Philippines
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Rwanda
Singapore
Slovakia
Solomon Islands
South Korea
Spain
Tonga
Turkey
Uganda
Ukraine
United Kingdom
United States
Uzbekistan

This number is still growing, and it is no accident that many member nations of the Coalition recently escaped from the boot of a tyrant or have felt the scourge of terrorism. All Coalition member nations understand the threat Saddam Hussein's weapons pose to the world and the devastation his regime has wreaked on the Iraqi people.

The population of Coalition countries is approximately 1.23 billion people.
Coalition countries have a combined GDP of approximately $22 trillion.
Every major race, religion, ethnicity in the world is represented.
The Coalition includes nations from every continent on the globe.

17. There's a very good reason why even Republican senators MOCK "coalition"
There never was a "coalition".

Actual invasion; USA (295,000), UK (45,000), Australia (2000) and 200 Polish troops.

At least Poland's president was honest about why he sent his 200 troops to Iraq; OIL.

The majority of nations listed never provided anything whatsoever other than their name on bushie's little list.

As for these nations having "escaped the boot of a tyrant", shall we look at fact and reality versus bushbull;

-According to ratings by Freedom House, 17 of the nations on bushie's list have "not free" governments.

-Transperancy International reported that 24 of the nations on bushie's list have "high levels of government corruption".

And the US State Department annual Human Rights report described the human rights situation in 18 of the "coalition" countries as "poor" or "extremely poor".

And NONE of bushie's nations on his little list had a majority of citizens who supported the invasion & occupation of Iraq.
